Grad School Interests

My degree is a Master's in Education but my interests consist of majoring in Curriculum and Instruction because I want to be able to impact the curriculum in a positive way that also meets the needs of students learning and living during an incredible time. This also means working towards bringing more representation and inclusion to the histories and experiences of communities of color.

Intended Job Path

Currently, I am in my 7th year within the classroom and have absolutely enjoyed working with children. Having learned so much being in the classroom I seek to continue to learn and grow professionally in order to continue to serve underrepresented groups. As I have found new passions within my field I plan to bring my educational degree into practice by being able to step out of the classroom and support teachers, and eventually my district in different roles.

Hobbies

My hobbies outside of work include crafting, organization, interior design and learning all about how different elements of color and design work best together.
