Currently I am a Civil Engineering student at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. I live in a town 30 mins away call Granbury where my family and I have lived for over 20 years coming from Monterrey Mexico. In this town my father has operated a construction company that focusses in rock and concrete work but has sided mostly stayed to the rock aspect of the job. There is a builder contractor called Will Steed in which he has worked with for over 10 years. Since I was a baby I have been by the side of my father doing whatever I saw him do at work. My core of inventions, construction, and problem solving originated from the construction environment of my father working at the various job sites. The three principle environments important to me are school, church, and work in which contribute to the person that I am today. Each day I worked in one of these places throughout the whole year, learning life lessons that could potential help me as navigate the world ahead of me. One of the biggest lessons or morals I learned was to take advantage of my opportunity of the schooling here in the united states. I acknowledge my blessing of being able to study and invest time and money to gather knowledge so I could have better life that my father wanted me to have. Through my school time, I have always had the determination to push the toughest and most advanced course available to take before college. In the last two years of high school I had received English, Mathematics, and Chemistry College Credit and was among the top 25 Percent of 500 students of my Class. My father taught me to learn and educate myself not only in one but many areas of interest to me. I had always loved sports along side the experience of learning in school. Instead of going to a university directly after high school I received an invitation to play football for a junior college in west Texas. I received an associate's of sciences degree at Cisco Junior College after 2 years and then decided to take a break for the 2020 spring semester to enjoy my marriage with my beautiful wife Keyla Martinez. We both currently work and purse school degrees along with serving at our local church as praise and worship leaders and teach the young adults around middle school and high school ages.
