About (Summary)
Hi, my name is Kendall Baab, and I am a first year student at California State University Long Beach. I graduated from Southlake Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, TX in June 2014. Although I am a Texas girl at heart, I still LOVE Long Beach and all the opportunities that it has to offer. I am currently studying as a dance major, and I have already grown so much as a person and a dancer in the short amount of time that I have been here. I was actively involved in my school activities back in high school, such as National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Spanish club, and drill team. Now that I am in college, I have joined Delta Gamma fraternity in order to expand my friendships with other girls, develop into the person that I want to become, and continue volunteering at different organizations.

Grad School Interests
I am currently not sure if I would like to continue to grad school because the dance field requires intense work at a young age. However, in the future, if I were to go to grad school, I would like to get my MFA in a dance related field such as dance therapy, choreography, or pedagogy.
Intended Job Path
My intended job path includes finishing my BA degree in a timely manner, and working immediately after college. I hope to work somewhere in the dance therapy or dance fitness fields. I would also like to start teaching dance classes to younger kids at a studio and, perhaps, open my own dance studio later on down the road.
