My name is Jaci Spencer and I am currently a student at Asbury University in Kentucky. I am a born and raised Texan who graduated with honors from a public high school in 2014. I completed my high school career in three years, graduating a year early, because I knew that I wanted to attend a missions school located in Kansas City. Growing up, my family was very missions-minded so, naturally, I am too. I went on my first mission trip to Belize at the age of ten; since then, I have been on mission trips to Nicaragua, Haiti, Brazil, China, Thailand, Mozambique, and various states within America. After completing a two-year certificate program at the missions school I attended, I applied and was accepted to Asbury University's China Study Abroad Program for the Fall of 2016. I am now continuing my education at Asbury University, which is a private Liberal Arts Christian University located in Kentucky, in order to graduate with an English major and ESL minor with the goal to teach English abroad. I am passionate about fostering learning, training up kids, and sharing my faith because I see the need for growth and nurturing in all three of these areas throughout our world.
