I have returned to school for my masters degree in my current field. My bachelor's degree was in Criminal Justice, but I became a safety professional 12 years ago and have loved the field. To take my career to the next level, I've decided to get my masters degree and some credentials that prove my competency and knowledge in the field of Environmental Health and Safety. It hasn't been an easy journey. I am the mother of a teenager with autism, and for the majority of his life I was a single mom. I built my career to support him while doing something I love, protecting people and thriving businesses from hazards and risk. Now that I've finally bought a house and paying off my car, I'm ready to move up and support my graduating high school senior as he figures out his way in the world. I live to learn and couldn't be more happy to be back in college and prove to the world that I made it in the face of great adversity!
