My name is Fernanda Escalante.. I was born in Caborca, Sonora Mexico in August 29th 1992. I lived in Mexico for 17 years and after I graduated from high school I moved to the United States. I came to U.S on July 27th 2010. I joined the AmeriCorps program for 2 years from October 2010 to August 2012. On the fall of 2011 I started attending Pima Community College and I got my Associate’s Degree on December 2013. During the spring 2014 I transfered to the University of Arizona and I am majoring on Literacy, Learning and Leadership with Empashis in Education with a minor in Spanish. I will graduate on May 2015 and finally I will have my Bachelor's. During this summer I will have the opportunity to travel with the University of Arizona and I will join a program in Spain. After this trip I would like to find an exciting job.
