About (Summary)

Life has presented to me an opportunity to change my career path and return to my initial roots as a developer. Although I've been in management the past 28 years of my 40+ year IT career, I've always kept close to the technical side of IT. I always seemed to find more enjoyment in the tactical side than the holistic. A lot has changed since I was a true programmer (internet, languages, operating systems, etc.). The best way for me to catch up with all these changes was to go back to school and learn about the latest and greatest tools and techniques. I enrolled at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in their Web Programmer Certification program. The program provided training in Front End, Back End & Database studies. I was able to complete the program in one year with a 4.0 GPA. I hope to utilize these new skills and build on them with other Full Stack learning opportunities.
