About (Summary)
I am currently attending Colorado Christian University in pursuit of my Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management. I am a wife, mother, and adult student in CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS) program - determined to finish my degree in Honor Society! I have always had a heart for volunteerism and nonprofit, working and supporting our local Filipino-American Service Team (FAST); Honor Flight Kern County; Relay for Life; and our family's foundation, The David Marcus Thumbs Up Scholarship Foundation (TDMTUSF). My family and I started TDMTUSF last year in memorial of my late Uncle David who sadly succumbed to cancer after a 7-year battle. David was a special needs man who has inspired us to continue his legacy of supporting children with special needs, encouraging student-athletes, and helping our community. My goal is to use my degree in Nonprofit Management to continue improving TDMTUSF and helping special needs students across the country.

In the interest of best serving those around me, I would like to continue my education with Colorado Christian University and pursue my Master's in Business Administration or enroll at a university that can continue my education in nonprofit.
Intended Job Path
I intend to use my degree to continuously improve and grow our family's nonprofit, The David Marcus Thumbs Up Scholarship Foundation, to help special needs students and others throughout our community. I would also like a chance to work with other nonprofit organizations on national and international levels.
