Adrian Suarez is a junior studying Economics and Global Studies in Lehigh University, wherein he has been in the Dean’s list since his first semester and has proudly represented the Philippines as an international scholar.
During the past 2 years, Adrian has been an active student leader, serving as the President of an Honors Society, the Vice President of the Global Union - the umbrella organization for all international cultural clubs - where he established the GU Consulting Hour, as well as the Vice President of the Lehigh University Multi-Faith Initiative where he represented the University in the annual interfaith conference in Chicago.
Adrian has also served as the Resident Assistant for the First Generation house, a facilitator in the first-generation conference in Princeton University, as field researcher in community based recycling in the Philippines, as student manager in the Lamberton Hall event center, as a Library & Technology Service student consultant and as host of the annual International Bazaar, Lehigh’s largest global-oriented event.
Besides being a self-published author, he is also a multi-awarded essayist and poet, recently being featured in Lehigh’s University’s International Voices anthology & in Amaranth. Right now, Adrian is working on a Data for Impact project assessing the impact of Covid-19 on the Lehigh Valley Arts & Culture sector as well as fundraising for local NGOs through his initiative Lehigh Strong.
