My name is Mark Slah Jallayu. I came from Western Africa Liberia as a refugee in 2006. Coming to the United States has been a blessing for me. I had always dream to come here. America has taught me alot, including being tolerant of others inspite of our differences, dreaming big, and working hard to get to where I want to be in life. America is so different from my country. My eight years here through elementary, middle, and high school has been great. I've tried new things and I've study to understand the American society. I feel that I am part of the story of the millions that come here in search of opportunity. I strive everyday to achieve the best of myself. Along with support, I'll go as far as my dreams and hardwork will take me.
