I am Madison McCray, a High School Senior and I have grown up in a small town where everyone knows everyone. I will be graduating from Matoaca High School with an Advanced diploma. At my High School I am the Secretary for FBLA and Key Club, I also am in National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, and National Society for High School Scholars. I was also the Captain of our dance team for four seasons, this came with the responsibility of creating our schedule, making checklists, choreographing dances, and conducting practices. If I am not dancing or doing school work I am most likely with my family doing whatever makes us happy. I am a dancer and will continue my passion for dance throughout my four years at Randolph- Macon College. While I am at Randolph-Macon College I will be majoring in Biology with a track in Pre-vet in hope to go to Graduate School to become a veterinarian. I currently am not in the School Building due to Covid-19 but continue to take my classes online, I am also teaching free online virtual dance classes as well as taking dance courses via zoom to stay well trained. I spent this past summer and every student holiday/Teacher work day at a small Veterinary clinic in Blackstone, Virginia as part of an internship. My internship at Blackstone Animal Clinic consisted of Shadowing the h owner in and out of her appointments, preparing medications, observing over 20 surgeries, and helping with routine cleaning.
