I am currently an online student pursuading my BFA in Graphic Design at Liberty University. I was born and raised in Milledgeville, Ga where I graduated from Baldwin High School in 2004. I started working as a Correctional Officer in 2007 and I also started my path to my current field at Central Georgia Technical College. There I studied Web Design, but transferred to The Art Institute of Atlanta because I wanted to earn more then an Associate Degree. At the Art Institute I studied Graphic and Web Design with a concentration on Web Design. During my enrollment, I was on the Dean's List, President's List, and I worked as an intern at World Services USA where I designed multiple brochures. After quitting corrections due to the extended work hours and pressure I faced while enrolled in school, I started working as a security guard which allowed me to be more flexible until 2014. I returned to my hometown in where God blessed me with my current job as Embroidery Plant Supervisor at Georgia Correctional Industries. My job duties include digitizing, designing and modifying artwork for embroidery and supervising my inmate work detail. Since my employment I have gained the skills and knowledge on how to run and work an embroidery machine and other embroidery skills. My current job has broadened my design skills because it allowed me to understand the importance of designing graphics for every area of an industry.
