About (Summary)

In 1997 I started out as a journeyman carpenter in the Local 713 Carpenters Union. I had just completed my four-year apprenticeship; the first half I did in a non-union program, and the second half I did through the Carpenters Union. Since then, I have worked in almost every sub-category of carpentry - from rough framing to finish work - until 2013. At that point, I reached a place in my career where to advance any further I would need college. On this last project I worked on, The Russel City Energy Center Natural Gas Power Plant, I realized that large-scale industrial construction was my passion. Fortunately, I spoke with the Site Superintendent of the project, and he let me know what sort of qualifications I will need to for that job. Since hard work had been instilled in me from an early age, I had little difficulty with the rigors of studying and achieving excellent results. https://about.me/mr.darrennelson
