About (Summary)

I grew up in Cornelius, Oregon. As a Junior at BYU-Idaho, I have discovered that my passion is in the study and performance of music. I am working toward completing my Bachelor's of Musical Arts with a minor in Humanities. I love to play the horn, and I have done so in various orchestral and chamber ensembles, including the Idaho Falls Symphony. Learning about music fascinates me, and I believe it to be a very relevant field of study of our time, as it continues to reflect human values and social contexts, as well as influence change. My hope is to further research and educate others about this prolific art form and help them see why it matters.
