Maryland Sea Grant Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)
Apply NowSince 1989, the National Science Foundation has supported the Maryland Sea Grant Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program to bring students to undertake individual research projects with a scientist-mentor at either Chesapeake Biological Lab or Horn Point Lab of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. The program includes a 12-week program during the summer, a $4,200 stipend plus housing and travel to and from site, and hands-on research experience.
