A part-time job is a great way to show colleges you are a hard worker and are prepared for the real world. A part-time job will also help you gain a little bit of savings for college. If you get a leadership position at your job then that will only help you look even better! Colleges like to see this on a student's application especially if they have held this job for a while as it shows them you are responsible. It also shows colleges that you can work with others and that you have job skills. Having a part-time job can really strengthen your application.
