ThinkImpact Institutes are summer and winter programs for students to live in rural communities to experience social innovation. In collaboration with locals, students identify opportunities and co-create products and services with a social impact. ThinkImpact facilitates community immersion and long-term local partnerships that advance sustainable and meaningful impact. Student ingenuity during Institutes has led to the creation of hundreds of jobs.
Program participants, called Scholars, embark on a journey to put into practice leadership skills, intercultural communication, and creative problem solving. Scholars come from a variety of backgrounds, from art history to international relations to business and engineering. We encourage bright, passionate individuals to apply, no matter your field of study.
Credit is available for all 3 week or 8 week Institutes through the University of the Pacific for a supplemental charge.
