Istanbul Airport Attack

On Tuesday April 28th 2016 what started out as a typical warm summer evening was turned into a nightmare when three theorist’s walked into Istanbul Ataturk airport and opened fire on numerous unexpected passenger’s and employees. Following the barrage of gunfire the suspects then proceeded to denote three suicide bombs, one located outside the terminal near the pavement with the second being located at the security gate entrance to the airport; the location of the third explosion has yet to be identified. While statements have been made by Vasip Sahin governor of Istanbul and Bekir Boz dog Turkey’s Justice Minister no one has yet to state a motive behind this horrific attack other than its believe to be affiliated with the Isis terror group. Time and time again were faced turmoil and the fact that is day and age you really aren’t safe anywhere anymore and its sad to but its true terrorist are getting bolder and bolder in their acts; not caring how many innocent lives are taken or the mere fact that often times the intended target is never the one effected instead it’s the innocent people who have nothing to do with but just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Did you know that Istanbul Ataturk Airport is one of the most secure airports in the world; my question is if this is supposed to be one the most secure airports in the world how could something like this happen? According to sources the airport has been “overwhelmed for several decades with terrorism from PKK.” I bring up the fact that approximately 28 people were killed and 60 injured these numbers were as of Tuesday and the numbers have risen since then. Yet again innocent lives were lost because apparently “the airport was overwhelmed” to me that just sounds like an excuse because telling me or the news even the world you was overwhelmed does not bring back the lives lost. These terrorist knew what they were doing, they knew that East of Istanbul is the eleventh busiest district in the world in regards of passenger traffic; so they knew when they walked into the airport that innocent people would be there. At the end of day, were being to face the fact that yet again were constantly hearing more and terrorist attacks ranging from being on American soil to Foreign soil. When will these forms of mass murder end? Better yet why has it not ended? Instead things are moving in the direction of getting better its heading down the path where things are getting worse and criminals are getting bolder with their plots and plans.
